Classic Racing Gold Review

classic racing gold reviewClassic Racing Gold is an independent horse racing tipster service that mainly focuses on Irish horse racing.

At the time of writing, Classic Racing Gold has produced a total profit of 320.27 points since the service launched on the 6th October 2015.

The service currently has a strike rate of 46.64% and a return on investment of 33.64%.

Classic Racing Gold averages between 50 – 70 bets each month. Due to the fact that this service mainly focuses on Irish racing, it is quite common for the service to go numerous days at a time without advising a bet if there is no Irish racing on. However, you will be notified when the next tips are expected to be advised.

Classic Racing Gold typically advises their tips the evening before the racing between 7:30pm and 9pm. They will send out an email around 30 minutes before they advise the tips letting you know what bookmaker accounts you will be using so you can be logged into your accounts and ready.

All the bets are advised and recorded to the best BOG odds at the time the email is sent out.

Trial

I started my trial of Classic Racing Gold on the 28th of January. Below are my results.

All results are recorded to the best bookmaker odds available when the email was received, and at level stakes as a pose to the services advised stakes. This is to allow easy comparison between the results of this service and alternative services.

You can find details of how Classic Racing Gold would have performed with advised stakes in the stats below my results.

Classic Racing Gold Stats

The trial of Classic Racing Gold concluded with a total profit of 9.13 points profit and a return on investment of 6.86%.

Despite the trial ending in a profit, I am a little disappointed as the service performed a little below par during this trial. But a profit is still a profit, so I can’t complain too much.

If you were to have bet on their tips at advised stakes over the period of this trial you would have achieved a larger profit of 16.55 points with roughly the same return on investment.

Final Thoughts On Classic Racing Gold

Despite Classic Racing Gold performing a little below par over the period of this trial, I really like the service. I can’t help but get the feeling that the guys behind Classic Racing Gold really care about their members and they certainly know their stuff when it comes to Irish racing.

I really like the little things they do such as sending out a warning email advising what bookmaker accounts you’ll need to place the next bets. They also own a couple of horses that have been running at some UK all weather meetings and they offer free race passes to members who want to go along whenever their horses are running.

I’m confident that Classic Racing Gold will continue to make steady profits and I am strongly considering adding them to my own tipster portfolio in the coming months if things keep up.
