The Real Source Of Betting Frustration

max racing tips review

Have you ever had a bad day or bad week’s – or even a bad month’s – betting and felt frustrated as a result of it?

If you have, you’re far from alone.

Bad losing runs happen even to the best of bettors.

But if you look at it rationally, getting frustrated about a bad losing run doesn’t benefit us in any way.

In fact, getting frustrated might even hinder your betting, by causing you to make bad betting decisions such as trying to chase your losses.

So it would make sense to try and remove, or at the very least minimize, the frustration we feel when we’re in the middle of a losing spell.

And to do that, you have to know what the true source of your frustration is.

You might think that the true source of your frustration is the losing run itself…

But you’d be wrong.

It’s very possible for one bettor to experience a bad losing run and not be too bothered by it, and for another bettor to experience that exact same losing run and be very frustrated about it.

One of those bettors is frustrated, and the other one is not, despite experiencing the exact same losing run.

So the losing run couldn’t possibly be the source of frustration, otherwise both bettors would be frustrated.

The REAL source of betting frustration comes from our expectations.

If you’re getting frustrated about your betting, you’ve set your expectations too high.

And when those expectations that are set to high don’t jive with reality, frustration is created.

Losing runs will happen to the best of us. You can’t change that.

You can however change your expectations.

Losing runs WILL happen, even to the best of bettors. They are to be expected.

But so long as you’ve got a suitable betting bankroll in place, losing runs shouldn’t be too much of a problem for you.

It can be easy to get disappointed when you experience poor results over the short term.

But so long as you’re using selection methods that have proven themselves to be profitable over the long term – whether that’s your own selections, or those of a tipster – you are likely to make a profit.
