If you do the same thing as everyone else, you will get the same results as everyone else.
The is true in both betting and in life in general.
When it comes to betting, at least 98% of people end up losing money. So if you want to even stand a chance of making money from your betting, you have to approach it differently than the average punter would.
The vast majority of people who place bets never seek out information as to how they can improve their betting.
And of the few that do, even less of them are serious enough about improving their betting for them to apply the information to their own betting.
Simply by reading about different ways to improve your betting and actually applying what you discover will put you well ahead of the majority of punters.
You may be able to learn enough from others to eventually make yourself a profitable bettor, but at some point or another you will probably find that if you want to take your betting to the next level you are once again going to have to do something different.
Remember, the most value in betting is found in doing something that very few others are doing.
And the only way to find the unique profitable angles that no one else is exploiting is by being a contrarian.
You need to constantly question accepted truths. If you have a hunch that something might be profitable, test it.
Back test using a system builder such as pro form. Forward test by paper trading. See for yourself if it’s profitable or not.
If that sounds like a lot of hard work, it’s because it is.
But that’s what it take to find a unique angle when it comes to betting.
Now you don’t necessarily need to find your own unique angles to make a profit from you betting. But it certainly helps.
There are other ways of making profits from your betting that you can use while attempting to discover your own angles, or instead of trying to find your own angles if you are not ready to take your betting as seriously as is required to do so.
The main one being to follow a proven and profitable tipster. Not sure what tipster/s you should follow?
