Don’t Chase Big Winners

Having a bet on a horse in a large race and watching it romp home can bring on a tremendous feeling of self satisfaction.

But properly analysing these races which have a lot of runners takes a lot of time and effort.

So much so, that you will probably be better off avoiding analysing and betting on these races.

After all, there is value to found in races of all sizes. So it makes sense to spend what time you have analysing a smaller race in greater detail.

Doing so will give you a far greater edge over the betting markets than the same amount of time spent analysing a larger race would.

And whilst landing a high priced winner in a big race might feel great, it’s usually a wise move to pass up on betting on these races.

Making a profit from your betting is hard enough as it is.

There is no point in making things even harder for yourself by focusing on races which are difficult to predict.

Until next time,
